The BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is a competitive entrance exam for admission to BITS Pilani's integrated first-degree programs at Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. Meeting the eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2026 is essential before applying, as ineligible candidates will be disqualified from the admission process. Academic Qualification

  • Candidates should be qualified in 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board.
  • Appearing candidates:Students appearing for the 12th examination in 2026 or who have already qualified 12th in 2025 are also eligible to apply.

Minimum Marks Required

  • Aggregate Marks:A minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for candidates applying to engineering programs (BE). For B. Pharm, at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • Individual Subject Marks:A minimum aggregate of 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects.
  • Candidates with PCM or PCB in 12th can apply for B. Pharm.

Other Eligibility Conditions

  • Year of Passing:Only those who have appeared for their 12th-grade exam in 2026 or 2025 are eligible. Those who qualified before 2025 are not eligible.
  • Attempts:Only the most recent performance in 12th-grade exams will be considered.
  • Direct Admission for Board Toppers:First rank holders in central or state boards in India are given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score, provided they meet subject and marks criteria.
  • No Age Limit:There is no age restriction for appearing in BITSAT 2026.

Eligibility for International Curriculums

Candidates from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) must have completed the required subjects as per the Indian system and meet the above eligibility in marks and subjects.

Disqualification Grounds

  • Submission of incorrect information during the application process can lead to disqualification.
  • Not meeting the minimum required percentage or failing to include required subjects will result in ineligibility.
