The NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam pattern consists of a computer-based test (CBT) with a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). The exam includes a total of 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) distributed across five sections. Candidates must complete all questions within the allotted time in a bilingual mode (English and Hindi), except the English Language section, which is only in English. There are no sectional time limits, so candidates can allocate their time as they see fit during the exam.

  • Aptitude for Service Sector: 50 questions (25% weightage)
  • General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 30 questions (15% weightage)
  • Reasoning and Logical Deduction: 30 questions (15% weightage)
  • Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude: 30 questions (15% weightage)

Each question carries 4 marks for a correct answer, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect response. Unanswered questions receive zero marks. The total maximum score is 800 marks.
