This is not the college if you looking for MCA, if you have low marks go instead to DU/JNU/BHU, these are much better options for MCA. Here at NIT Raipur this course if of 3 years where others provide the same in two years. The faculties and infrastructure both are poor. Labs equipments are also very old. It's just famous because it has NIT tag otherwise no one will look for it.

Campus Facilities: Although college campus is of more than 100 acres but it most of it is covered in jungles. It does not provide hostel to PG courses except some female candidates based on rank. It has 2 places to eat both are average. It has 1 SBI ATM which is a good thing though. The main campus building is very old ans so were the classrooms and labs. At the top floor in raining sesason water started dripping from it's roof.

Campus Life: It organizes many events but most of them were not interesting. Even the most popular event eclectika is not that good, maybe for newcomers it excites them.

Faculty: Some faculties here are really good at teaching but most of them either don't want to teach or can't. Some just waste time in rubbish things and at the end completes the syllabus in an very few days using PPT

Placements: Only 2-3 companies come here for internships taking max of 4-5 students. In my senior batch approx. 60% students were placed with an average of 6LPA which is not a good number considering it in NIT. The range is between 3-20 lakhs in general.
