Your Opportunity

As a part of @WalmartLabs Bangalore team in India that works on ERP implementations in the areas of Retail, Manufacturing, Procurement, Human Resources and Real estate business functions for multiple Walmart markets with SAP and IBM-Tririga, your design and solution will have a significant impact on Walmart?s Global Back office Solution. You will be challenged with

unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple countries, highest number of users and the highest data volume in the world.

Your Responsibility
As Sr. Engineer you would be working as IC.
Interact with Walmart cross functional engineering teams as cloud, platform, analytics etc. across geographies to leverage technical expertise and contribute to the engineering community.
Work with Engineering Lead/architect to develop the best solution and implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related discipline and experience of 6-9 years.
Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, etc.
Expertise in Java, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns
Experience in coding and implementing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed
Hands on Experience on Apache Hadoop, Map-reduce, R, Apache Spark will be on added advantage
environment. Preferably in the Supply Chain of ecommerce/Retail systems/manufacturing systems.
Extensive hands-on experience building services using these technologies (Java, Spring, Hibernate, Ruby on Rails)
Expertise in Messaging Systems as Kafka, RabbitMQ
In depth knowledge of No-SQL and database technologies (Hbase, Cassandra, Oracle, Postgresql)
Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Ruby, Perl, Python, Shell, Bash will be good to have
Experience in building SOA based micro services solutions
