The Opportunity

Open Text is seeking a talented, personable individual who can assist primarily for the performance engineering of the OpenText products built/deployed on both Cloud and On-Premise.

You Are Great At

Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability and scalability on both cloud and on-Premise applications
Responsible to handle the complete life cycle of the performance Engineering (Plan, Design, Build, Execute, Analyze, Tune and Report)
Setup and configure performance testing tools to gather test results
Perform in-depth technical root cause analysis for high priority issues spanning all technology layers/stacks and provide corrective actions
Understand thread dumps, heap dumps, and able to assimilate, correlate, and report out the issues.

What It Takes

Education qualification needs to be B.E or B. Tech or Bachelors of Computer Science or similar Industry Experience: 7-12 years, with at least 6+ years in handling performance testing activities.

Essential Skills:


  • Hands-on experience building enterprise level performance test suites
  • Strong exposure to performance engineering life cycle and concepts
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing on both Web and non-web applications
  • Solid experience on Performance testing tools like Performance Center/Silk Performer JMeter
  • Expert level skills to configure and monitor the Performance diagnostics & APM tools
  • Programming experience on Java (or any other language) and SQL would be a plus
  • Ability to identify performance issues within the architecture, Load balancers,
  • Web/App servers, Database (Oracle), Operating System, Network, Software (JAVA/.Net) and Hardware
  • Expertise in Performance Tuning across all the application tiers
