About The Position

Netskope Platform Engineering team is responsible for the end-to-end build, scale and management of the infrastructure required to operate Netskope products and services. Platform Engineering is primarily focused on the ownership of Platform Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the OPS support queue and serve as an escalation point for all unresolved issues
  • Responsible for the proper functioning of all services and monitoring systems.
  • Perform initial triage with the available SOPs.
  • Assess impact, engage tech teams and notify stakeholders for all major incidents.
  • Ensure SLA and quality standards are met or exceeded
  • Be comfortable in executing all technical and procedural workflow pertaining to OPS.
  • Create and update SOP?s in sync with the changing infrastructure, services and processes.
  • Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades and monitoring through modern DevOps tools (Ansible, Kubernetes etc)


Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/BE with 5-10 year of Escalation / NOC experience .
  • Excellent Linux administration and Troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge on NOC processes and procedures.
  • Good knowledge on monitoring systems like Nagios, Zabbix, signalfx, sumologic Datadog etc.
  • Good Knowledge on ITIL/ITSM process and bug tracking system like JIRA
  • Networking, mysql. and no-sql, dbs like mongo is preferred.
  • RHCE/AWS / GCP certification along with automation background is preferred
  • Ability to take decision and exhibit good leadership qualities.
  • Must be customer focused and have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Great learning attitude and proactiveness is highly desirable.
  • Engage in ongoing self-development and improvement.
