Company Profile:


This is a DHTML developer (HTML/CSS/JS) position for the CSR Team in the Institutional Equities Division of Morgan Stanley Advantage Services. This group develops a number of analytical tools that are used by Sales and trading users that provide enriched sector based and stock analytics. All the tools implement technologies such as Java, Flex, Real time messaging and KDB. 

Position requires building of core libraries, which can be consumed by other applications. Candidate will need to display adequate experience of one or more frameworks such as ExtJS, Sencha Touch, Angular JS etc.

The candidate will: 


Be responsible for working in a team as a process-oriented person and adhering to the organizations product development standards 

Be responsible for developing, enhancing, re-engineering & maintaining the CSR applications. 

Will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall design and architecture of the application developed and deployed 

Interact with business users to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues 
Gain an understanding of the Morgan Stanley business to facilitate communication with business users

They should be able to handle competing demands on time and manage their own work to deadlines. Flexibility in outlook is essential. Qualifications:


Skills Required:


  1. DHTML development (HTML/CSS/JS) Level (4)
  2. Experience with commonly used frameworks such as ExtJS, Sencha Touch, Angular JS, and JQuery etc.
  3. Experience developing custom reusable components.
  4. Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
  5. Levels range from 1 to 5 with '1' denoting the most basic level of competence and '5' denoting expert

Skills Desired:


  1. Experience with Java.
  2. Experience with Eclipse / IntelliJ / Aptana IDE
