Job Description:
1. Ensure divisional quality processes are followed by the QA and development teams
2. Communicate with developers, project managers, and management on project and testing status
3. Ensure deliveries under their control meet the defined standards and work towards improving these in an ongoing basis
4. Liaise with the QA and development teams to understand how testing is currently performed and propose and implement improvements , in conjunction with senior leadership
5. Maintain solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies and terminology
6. Participate in daily SCRUM meetings (where necessary)
7. Manage and coordinate the testing effort for regular software releases, and build and train the team to improve the testing process over time.
8. Sign off and provide test evidence for the activities that they are responsible for

Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of Software Testing Management experience with responsibilities for running the testing function front-to-back across a broad range of either engineering or client projects
2. Ability to demonstrate technical and testing-method leadership for their teams to improve the testing process and to negotiate that with senior clients
3. Able to demonstrate process improvements across both QA and development teams under their control
4. Demonstrated experience of both local and remote team liaison and management
