Job Description :

  1. Analyze & understand product features and usage, in order to provide inputs to estimation & schedules, develop effective test automation and automation strategy
  2. Design right test automation keeping in mind product features, design and customer.
  3. Review of automation code developed by test engineers and provide valuable feedback to improve overall automation effectiveness
  4. Define automation strategy and automate test cases, maintain automated test cases and execute
  5. Lead automation activities working with various project stake holders like test, development and architects
  6. Understand the customer usage and define appropriate automation environment to mimic customer environment
  7. Understand different quality factors in order to ensure effective test case automation development. Coach teams in effective automation design and strategy.
  8. Proposes and advocate automation technology concepts, influence improvements, report potential risk and plan for contingencies
  9. Mentoring team members on automation knowledge, automation design and test case automation
  10. Continuous learning and refinement of automation strategy and automation execution
  11. Watch automation defects and make corrections for successful automation execution
  12. Collaborate with test and development teams in order to understand the features getting developed during the sprint, usage and use cases. Implement this knowledge in automating the test cases
  13. Engage in small scale innovation/value addition in automation & encourage the team in this direction
  14. Understanding Automation industry trends, participating in conferences, Paper presentations etc.
  15. Provide feedback and recommendations to automation developers on creating quality automation for the features.
  16. Conduct historical analyses of automation results and thrive to improve.

Required Skills:

  1. In-depth knowledge in Automation languages, tools and planning for automation of enterprise software products
  2. Develop & lead automation creation with JAVA/Selenium/Junit/Python/Perl/Appium
  3. Develop automation frameworks based on the automation needs of products
  4. Maintenance of the existing automation frameworks and test cases automation code
  5. Well versed in Linux, Windows OS usage.
