Skills Required:


Responsibilities:


  1. Experience of PHP 5 and OOP beneficial
  2. Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best
  3. Practice & de-facto standard plugins.
  4. Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
  5. Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
  6. Creation of custom post types
  7. Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
  8. Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
  9. Theme/Template integration
  10. Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial
  11. Experience creating multi-lingual websites Advantageous
  12. Knowledge and experience of web accessibility
  13. Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
  14. Use of jQuery / AJAX / Prototype / script.aculo.us an advantage

  9. Proven experience with the definition/documentation of large web systems and infrastructure
  10. Must be comfortable working with faith-based organizations
  11. An excellent communicator and collaborator
  12. Able to organize and run meetings, leaving with clear objectives and tasks
  13. Comfortable talking with clients (via phone, email and in person)
  14. Keen ability to multi-task; self-starter
  15. Capable planner
  16. A strong vocabulary
  17. Teachable spirit
