Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  1. 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in design and coding of commercial application using Java.
  2. Must have extensive experience in Java server-side development including multi-threading programming and service-oriented architecture.
  3. Experience developing data access and APIs for distributed applications
  4. Experience with low-latency platforms
  5. Hands on experience with JDBC/ODBC
  6. Experienced with ORM technologies.
  7. Good knowledge of XML/XSD, JSON and related technologies
  8. Have basic SQL and general knowledge of TCP/IP

Desired Experience:

  1. Experience with iterative SDLC such as Agile, SCRUM, Test-Driven Development.
  2. Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
  3. Proven ability to solve problems.
  4. Must be highly motivated, to work independently or on a team. and drive solutions with minimal supervision.
  5. Ability to work productively in a globally distributed development team.
