Primary Duties:
  1.  Participate in creating test plans
  2.  Create test scenarios, test cases for various phases and types of testing
  3.  Prepare test data and test environment to execute the test cases
  4.  Report regular status of testing
  5.  Record and track defects through tools
  6.  Collect test metrics to measure the quality of product
  7.  Communicate with all the key stakeholders on the progress of various product deliverables
  8.  Assist Leads and Managers in preparing quality guidelines, checklists, and templates to improve the quality of the products and the processes
  9.  Should have basic knowledge on the performance/Load testing
  10.  Should be able to take ownership and drive end to end testing activities
  11.  Should be able to mentor/guide other team members
  12.  Support Quality Assurance department initiatives across product portfolio

Additional Duties:
  1.  Script for improving process efficiency in areas such as infrastructure management, configuration management, etc.
  2.  Assist engineering team in troubleshooting or resolving scalability/performance issues across products
  3.  Prepare/Suggest ?Key Lessons Learned? documents to improve the quality of the products
 
Required Skills:
  1.  2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
  2.  Strong application of manual testing techniques with excellent understanding of best practices and
  3. principles of software testing
  4.  Experience with various testing methodologies
  5.  Experience testing Web-based applications (preferably single page)
  6.  Good knowledge of SE/SDLC/STLC/Agile, test/QA methodology & processes, and concepts
  7.  Exposure/Good knowledge of HTML/JS and Flex technology
  8.  Proficiency in MS Office products
  9. Soft Skills:
  10.  Strong problem solving, trouble shooting, and debugging skills
  11.  Good communication with inter-personal skills
  12.  Excellent team player with good presentation skills
  13.  Can work independently under minimal supervision with strong work ethic
  14.  Process oriented with good documentation skills
