The Global Equities Technology stack at J P Morgan is going through a strategic transformation (front to back). This is a multi-year program where the India Tech teams are involved heavily.  The technology stack used is predominantly Core Java, C# .NET, C++ and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office, Middle Office, Risk Management and Client Intelligence Technologies.

Job Description :

  1. Experience with the C programming language, either professionally or academically.
  2. Experience with the Stratus/VOS or UNIX/LINUX Operation systems
  3. Experience in the payments processing industry
  4. Experience in Agile Methodologies
  5. As a C/VOS Programmer, you will develop and test mission-critical enterprise applications that meet the needs of the business. You will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing break-fix solutions and enhancements for applications within new and mature technology environments

  7. Basic Qualifications:
  8. B.S. or equivalent experience in a technology environment
  9. A willingness and ability to develop programming skills with an objective to take on increasingly complex programming assignments.
  10. A willingness to develop the analytical and technical skills required to support the research and diagnosis of production processing issues.
  11. An ability and willingness to develop the communication, presentation, and documentation skills as needed in order to function in a longer term lead engineering role.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
