Company Profile:

The Global Equities Technology stack at J P Morgan is going through a strategic transformation (front to back). This is a multi-year program where the India Tech teams are involved heavily.  The technology stack used is predominantly Core Java, C# .NET, C++ and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office, Middle Office, Risk Management and Client Intelligence Technologies.

Job Description :

  1. Should be willing and able to learn independently both the business requirements and environment in which development will take place.
  2. Should be able to independently design and develop complex software.
  3. Responsible for timely delivery as agreed within the project without compromising on product quality.
  4. Takes ownership of code quality. Actively and effectively reviews source code, takes defect prevention steps in software developed.
  5. Interacts well with peers and communicates in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written on his/her work.
  6. Adopt agile development methodologies
  7. Must have recent experience working within a large/global enterprise environment, developing, documenting and deploying N-tier distributed applications.
  8. Must have a proven ability to think creatively, and work autonomously providing full and thorough documentation around updated code and activities.
  9. Must be able to ensure appropriate and relevant communication with stakeholders

 
Required Skills :
 
  1. Microsoft.NET /w C# as primary programming language (up to framework ver 4.5)
  2. SQL Server Inc., database design, T-SQL, stored procedures
  3. ASP.NET, MVC and WebAPI
  4. REST Web Services ASP.NET Web API 2.2
  5. TDD/BDD
  6. Agile (Scrum / Kanban)
   
Desirable Skills :

  1. Messaging Technologies(QPID/AMPQ)
  2. SOA
  3. Jira
  4. SVN/TFS
  5. Continuous Integration (Jenkins or equivalent)
  6. MultiThreading
  7. Design Patterns.
