Company Profile:

The Global Equities Technology stack at J P Morgan is going through a strategic transformation (front to back). This is a multi-year program where the India Tech teams are involved heavily.  The technology stack used is predominantly Core Java, C# .NET, C++ and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office, Middle Office, Risk Management and Client Intelligence Technologies.

Job Description :

  1. must have a proven ability to think creatively, and work autonomously providing full and thorough documentation
  2. will be able to understand the environment quickly in order to be functional in a short period of time
  3. must have in-depth understanding of modern practices and methods
  4. must be able to mentor other members of his/her team
 
Essential Skills:

  1. Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a technical / IT field
  2. Informatica UM, RulePoint, PowerCenter
  3. Expert level SQL Server Inc., database design, T-SQL, stored procedures (up to SQL Server ver 2012)
  4. Microsoft SQL BI Tools (SSRS, SSIS)
  5. Dimension Modelling - Kimball Methodologies
  6. Dashboard Design / Reporting.
 
Desirable Skills:

  1. Microsoft SQL BI Tools  - SSAS
  2. MS Sql server performance tuning, optimization
  3. TDD/BDD + Agile, Scrum & Kanban
  4. Data Visualisation Tools ? Splunk , Tableau, Qlikview
  5. Some knowledge of Oracle/PL-SQL
  6. Some experience of Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
  7. Some experience of SOAP and REST Web Services using WCF
  8. Some experience of C# /.Net.
