Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Working within an agile team to deliver high quality software to the business
  2. Follow best practice for development and code management
  3. Work with the tech lead and other team members to shape the design of the application and provide estimates for planning
  4. Build  unit test cases and assist with the definition and development of automated functional tests following principles of Behavioral- Driven Development
  5. Provide third line production support
 
Qualifications

  1. Hands-on design and development with experience of delivering high-performance scalable systems
  2. Experience with automated testing  unit testing and acceptance testing
  3. Java  Core Java, JSE/JEE Server platforms with emphasis on writing high quality code, multi-threading, performance analysis and tuning
  4. Solid expertise of enterprise integration architectures  e.g. Mule, Spring Integration, Messaging (e.g. JMS), XML, JSON
  5. Software Design Patterns, Object Oriented Design
  6. Solid experience using open source frameworks such as Spring IoC, LMAX Disruptor
  7. Exposure to Gemfire or other distributed caching technologies
  8. RDBMS experience  - Oracle
  9. Linux/Unix
  10. Maven, Hudson/ Jenkins, Sonar Cube,  GIT
  11. Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  12. The role will require the use of the following personal qualities and soft skills:
