Job Description:

  1. We are looking for a Hadoop developer to design and implement solutions for Big Data and Machine Learning, based on Spark, Hive, and other relevant solutions in this ecosystem. Become part of a talented and highly motivated team in Intel's communication division, which is distributed around the globe. 
  2. Help us design workflows and implement solutions supporting a huge software and hardware development community.
  3. Work within a team of skilled business intelligence experts. 
  4. Understand requirements from customers other teams in the division end-to-end engage with the customers, make sure that they get the solution they need. 
  5. Design solutions in the Hadoop space, for use cases relating to Big Data and Machine Learning. Code, code, code. Test, deploy, document the solutions. Maintain and operate the solutions, incl. 
  6. Root cause analysis, monitoring, ongoing performance improvements, IT governance topics, version upgrades.

Key Skills :

  1. Experience in Big Data solutions and Hadoop, and distributed programming. 
  2. Experience in Machine Learning. 
  3. Fluent in Python, preferably also in Scala and Java. 
  4. Ability to work within a diverse, dynamic, multi-geographical team environment. 
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  6. Basic knowledge about Windows, Linux, and Linux shell scripting. 
  7. Knowledge of the software development best practices. 
  8. Have a mindset to continuously look for improvements, grow, excel, and become simply better.Nice to Have: Experience in data warehousing, databases SQL Server and Oracle, and ETL processes. 
  9. Experience in data visualization. 
  10. Experience in data science.
