Job Description:
- We are looking for a Hadoop developer to design and implement solutions for Big Data and Machine Learning, based on Spark, Hive, and other relevant solutions in this ecosystem. - Help us design workflows and implement solutions supporting a huge software and hardware development community.
- Work within a team of skilled business intelligence experts.
- Understand requirements from customers other teams in the division end-to-end engage with the customers, make sure that they get the solution they need.
- Design solutions in the Hadoop space, for use cases relating to Big Data and Machine Learning. Code, code, code. Test, deploy, document the solutions. Maintain and operate the solutions, incl.
- Root cause analysis, monitoring, ongoing performance improvements, IT governance topics, version upgrades.
Key Skills :
- Experience in Big Data solutions and Hadoop, and distributed programming.
- Experience in Machine Learning.
- Fluent in Python, preferably also in Scala and Java.
- Ability to work within a diverse, dynamic, multi-geographical team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic knowledge about Windows, Linux, and Linux shell scripting.
- Knowledge of the software development best practices.
- Have a mindset to continuously look for improvements, grow, excel, and become simply better.Nice to Have: Experience in data warehousing, databases SQL Server and Oracle, and ETL processes.
