Job Description:
1. Creation of quality plans and assurance of adherence
2. Implementation of ?lessons learned?
3. Definition of product software quality gates
4. Execution of document reviews and software quality gate reviews
5. Assurance of software maturity level, if required through escalation and closure of open issues
6. Check of effectiveness of measures
7. Execution of internal audits and assessments
8. Creation of software quality assurance reports
9. Interface to the customer related to preventive quality assurance questions
10. Assurance of adherence to handover regulations and processes from the development to operations including the application of the HARMAN PLM processes

Candidate Profile:
1. Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar
2. At least 8 of industry experience with hands on experience in software development, project management and implementing CMMI-DEV Level 3, Automotive SPICE (HIS Scope) Level 3, or ISO/TS 16949.
3. Responsible for facilitating quality processes, methodology and tools for IDC ( India Development center) engineering organization
4. Strong agile knowledge and evangelizing the Agile methodologies in conjunction with global teams
5. Provide support to IDC engineering groups in the setting up quality tools, metrics, processes and documents and define mechanisms to track and improve the same
6. Perform internal audits to ensure compliance to the mandated quality process; Identify non-conformance and plans for improvement
7. Work with IDC engineering leaders in establishing benchmarks for quality and productivity metrics
8. Measure and monitor quality and productivity metrics and contribute towards continuous improvement of the same
9. Strong leadership skills
10. Very good communication skills
