Responsibilities:
1. Performing technical troubleshooting covering installations, upgrades, data migrations, interoperability, middleware, performance and product related issues.
2. Effectively using company tools and software to record information about the technical infrastructure, problem reports, troubleshooting steps and processes and resolution steps for customer reported issues
3. Actively contributing and working continually to improve customer self-help through the publication of technically accurate knowledge base articles.
4. Coordinating problem resolution with other team members, escalation resources, Ellucian engineering, Ellucian testing and partner companies to ensure open communication of issues and resolutions.
5. Participating in the definition and implementation of processes to address all questions, concerns and ideas of customers that are submitted electronically or by phone.

Position Requirements: 
1. Installation and configuration of Oracle Weblogic Server 11g, 12c, Oracle Web Tier 11g & Oracle Forms & Reports server 11g.
2. Oracle Forms Configuration, Oracle Reports Configuration, in-process report server tuning , standalone report server creation and tuning.
3. JVM Controller configuration.
4. JDBC Connection Pool and Multipool configuration with Oracle, Sql Server etc.
5. Deployment and troubleshooting of JAR, WAR, and EAR files in domain and clustered environments.
