Job Description:-

  1. Design, develop and improve websites.
  2. Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  3. Produce project estimates during sales process, including expertise required, total number of people required, total number of development hours required, etc.
  4. Attend client meetings during the sales process and during development.
  5. Work with software programmers, integrators, multimedia and web designers.
  6. Ensure quality of products and services according to standards, processes and procedures.
  7. Work with clients and Project Managers to build and refine graphic designs for websites. Must have strong skills in Photoshop, Fireworks, or equivalent application(s).
  8. Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.
  9. Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to clients.
  10. Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays. Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
  11. Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
  12. Be actively involved in and contribute regularly to the development community of the CMS of your choice.
  13. Develop innovative, reusable Web-based tools for activism and community building.
  14. Identify technical problems and procedures and communicate their applicable solutions.
  15. Participate in collecting information for documents related to the use of computer programs.
  16. Document the use and maintenance of all software and programs.
  17. Once the web application has been developed, the web developer will also be responsible for detecting and fixing bugs before the product is launched.

Desired Candidate Profile:-

  1. Should have 1 ? 5 Years of experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS; PHP, ASP or JSP; working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.
  2. Should have expertise in more than one Programming Languages (like Java, .NET, PHP, JSP etc.) for both Front-end and Back-end Development.
  3. Know programming languages and databases as well as their capabilities and technical limitations.
  4. Know the different network protocols and file transfer protocols for the transmission and retrieval of information between computers.
  5. Should be skilled in graphic design and interfaces.
  6. Experienced in using extensible web authoring tools, developing and implementing open source software projects.
  7. Highly Self Motivated, Hard-Working and Ambitious in Achieving Goals and Ready to do whatever it takes.
  8. Excellent Aptitude, Manipulative, Behavioural, Computational, Presentation, Verbal, Written, Interpersonal, Communications and Teaching Skills and should be Fluent in English.
  9. Self-starter with strong self-management skills and must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  10. Understand design tools for pc or mac multimedia environments.
  11. Know typography and design programming, navigational principles of web browsing and understand the approaches used to develop, integrate and implement websites.
  12. Should be always looking for new trends and technologies.
  13. Should believe in teamwork, cooperation and helping others out whenever needed. Work well with minimal supervision and take personal initiative.
  14. Should be open to new ideas, detail oriented and patient, accountable, team players, skilled problem solvers
