Role Responsibilities:
1. This position is responsible for working on projects and engagements assigned to them and deliver it on time with quality
2. Responsible for possessing and developing a detailed understanding of WebSphere MQ
3. Accountable for providing maximum system availability and uptime for our WebSphere environments
4.Responsible for understanding the application, including upstream and downstream dependencies, and provide the best solution for the project/engagement they are assigned to
5. Responsible for installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of Dell’s Global WebSphere MQ environment
6. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of other tasks as defined by the Manager of Middleware –WebSphere Systems. 

Requirements:
1. B.E/B. Tech in computer science or equivalent with 3+ years of overall IT experience
2. 1-2 years of experience as MQ Engineer
3. Experience with installing, patching, upgrading, administering, scripting and maintaining WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment clustered environments
4. IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere MQ Series - desirable
5. Experience or knowledge in other middleware technologies like Fusion, BPEL, Data power - desirable
6. Experience or knowledge in application development in J2EE or .Net will be an added advantage- desirable
7. Superior Customer Focus
8. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate technical issues in English to individuals with various technical backgrounds
