The Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC) has been set up under the aegis of the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration for implementing the various plans of the Administration to promote the IT industry in Chandigarh. The Chairperson of the Society is the Adviser to the Administrator.

Job Description:
1. Execute and create test cases 
2. Test environment set ups 
3. Analyze test results for quality 
4. Manage and analyses test strategies, test plans, test cases to meet business design and functional requirements 
5. Provide accurate test estimates and determine test scope 
6. Troubleshoot application and environment issues 
7. Identify, debug software defects 
8. Effectively communicate testing status to management 
9. Escalate issues and risks efficiently and clearly communicate/identify problem areas 
10. Train and mentor other team member
