Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop business applications on Java platform.
  2. Integrate new business modules with existing systems.
  3. Provide production support and fix issues to the satisfaction of the client.
  4. Creates proof of concepts or prototypes with proper design documentation.
  5. Collaborate with different stakeholders like QA, Product Management, Production Operations to deliver the solution.
  6. Should be flexible to work independently and/or in a team environment.
  7. Should be able to work on multiple projects/tasks concurrently.
  8. Maintain standards compliance.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Must have strong application development experience in Java, J2EE, JBoss, JSP, HTML, JavaScript.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Java/J2EE programming concepts and memory management in multi-threaded asynchronous environments.
  3. Must have strong knowledge of OOPs concepts.
  4. Must have strong unit testing skills using JUnit.
  5. Must have strong experience in SQL Server (2008/2014) /Oracle/Vertica.
  6. Must have strong experience in writing complex SQL Queries and/or stored procedures with good debugging and performance tuning skills.
  7. Must have excellent software design and documentation skills.
  8. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java programming.
  9. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Excellent communication skills. Should be able to articulate his ideas very well to clients and team alike.
  11. Young, energetic and assertive. Should be a quintessential team person.
  12. Should have attention to detail.
  13. Should be a technology enthusiast.
Good to Have:

  1. Good to have working experience in revision control systems like Git, SVN, TFS etc.
  2. Good to have working experience with iterative software development processes like Agile Scrum.
Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical field experience. MCA (Full-time)
