Job Description

 Individual is responsible to work in an environment composing multiple teams and work with clients across the globe to create solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining components to deliver a system that generates the output.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Create automated build scripts for code compilation and packaging. 
  2. Ensure Build environments are maintained and available. 
  3. Create solutions for continuous builds, deployments and automation of such.
  4. Develop custom tools to improve day-to-day processes.
  5. Create and manage custom applications for software deployment and tool integration.
  6. Develop SharePoint workflows for configuration management processes. 
  7. Manage and Administer configuration tool RTC and DevOps Build portal.
  8. Procedure/documentation creation and ownership.
  9. Assist with application integration triage assisting development.
  10. Coordinate deployment issues across various development and infrastructure teams and environments.
  11. Create and execute industry best practices within area of responsibility.
  12. Working closely with Developer community and multiple stakeholders.
  13. Interact with numerous teams to troubleshoot and resolve environment issues.
  14. Willingness to learn and adapt to the environment.
  15. Understanding of Application servers and ability to troubleshoot environment issues in collaboration with Developer community
Requirements
Education: Bachelors / Masters Degree

Certifications If Any : Any certifications in Continuous Integration are desirable (Not Mandatory)

Experience Range: 2 to 4 years

Mandatory skills
  1. Good experience on Configuration Management concepts, build framework design architecture, Source code administration.
  2. Expertise in Software configuration management (SCM) using RTC/ClearCase/ ClearQuest /Git, Gerrit, JIRA and CVS.
  3. Experience working on Build environment and build scripts (Ant,/Maven)
  4. Experience working on Shell /perl scripting
  5. Experience of working with continuous integration frameworks (like Jenkins, DevOps) and debugging.
  6. Experience of working in UNIX-like environments (Linux/Solaris) and usage of operating system tools.

Desired skills

  1. Experience of managing software licenses for different build tools
  2. Exposure to Database like Oracle (SQL/PLSQL) or MQSQL.
  3. Sound understanding and implementation experience of Continuous Integration tools & process definitions.
  4. Knowledge of CI Orchestration tools like Electric Cloud.
  5. Knowledge on Packaging softwares containers like Dockers & Kubernetes.
  6. Strong Communication and Coordination skills with multiple stakeholders (Development, interface and Devops teams).
  7. Ability to work with people from multiple time zones.
              
Work Timings: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM
