Process Overview:

Quantitative Risk Technology team?s mission is to enable the Bank of America?s Credit Risk Management Processes through deployment of technology solutions, analytical platforms and credit risk model research/development service

Job Description:

This role will be part of the EVER team responsible for development and support to the application.

This position will be accountable for design and development of financial applications in the credit risk domain using Java/J2ee and UI Technology [Angular JS ,AJAX, JSP, HTML5 and CSS3] and one of the major relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) as well as Windows services technology.

The candidate will be involved in every phase of the software development lifecycle and should bring solid experience to our team in implementing successful projects using Java/J2ee, Angular JS and SQL, while developing code under Linux and Windows servers. He/she will be working on new and existing projects using Agile/Kanban practices at a developer level, while being involved in some maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

Work as a developer for enhancements to Alps EVER business applications using Core Java, J2ee and UI based technologies like Angular JS.

Being able to participate actively in Design/Solution phases of the project.
Apply SQL server queries, procedures coding best practices.

Write Unit test cases ensuring at least 80% coverage for all new code

Handle production releases from India.

Requirements:

Education* BE/B Tech from premier institutes
Certifications If Any:  
Experience Range: 2-5 Years

Mandatory skills: Core Java [1.6 to 1.8], J2ee and Angular JS. Basic knowledge on Oracle or SQL server, Good knowledge of Angular JS and other UI skills like HTML 5, AJAX and JSP also writing queries and procedure.

Desired skills: Good Java Knowledge and Exposure to Windows server, other UI skills like , Knowledge of Banking and Finance domain will be a big advantage , Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.

Must Have Skills:

  1. Good Java knowledge and UI development experience in Angular and HTML 5.
  2. Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server writing queries, procedures.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively during design, development, testing, debugging and application maintenance phases.
  4. Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  5. Assist in production migration activities.
  6. Champions best practices, platform usage standards and able to follow existing guidelines.
