Job Description:

  1. Demonstrated proficiency with Java, C++, or similar modern programming languages
  2. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  3. Solid expertise in data structures and algorithms
  4. Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle or DynamoDB
  5. Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience
  6. Experience and willingness to mentor more junior engineers and help them develop their skills and leadership abilities
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment

Key Skills:

  1. Experience designing, building and deploying scalable, highly-available systems
  2. Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customer
  3. Ability to think abstractly and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems
  4. Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
  5. Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solution.
  6. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and databases.
