Candidates age limit should be between 18-39 years. Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates and 03 years for OBC (Group A & B).
Candidates should possess Bachelors Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts or Information Technology or Business Administration or Engineering from recognized University or Institution of repute for Post No. 01 & 02 and Higher Secondary.

Equivalent from any recognized Board or an institute of repute for Post No. 03 with relevant experience.
Based on Interview.

The Excise Directorate under the Finance Department, GoWB is one of the major revenue earning directorates for the Government of West Bengal.The operations of the Excise Directorate centre around the enforcement of regulations relating to the manufacture, production, possession, distribution, transport, supply, selling and buying of liquor and other intoxicants. The Directorate strives to achieve the twin needs of preventing the manufacture, supply and distribution of illicit/counterfeit/spurious liquor and/.or non-duty paid intoxicants and attaining the full realizable revenue potential of the State since prohibition is not a viable option.
