Assistant Engineer (Civil): 40 Posts
Sub- Assistant Engineer (Civil): 40 Posts
Candidates age should not be more than 37 years for Post 1, 40 years for OBC (A&B), 42 years for S.C/ S.T Candidates & 45 years for Physically Handicapped Candidates for Post 2 as on 01-01-2016. Upper age relaxation is applicable 05 years for SC/ ST & PWD (Person with Disability), 03 years for OBC candidates category (A & B) of West Bengal.
Candidates should possess Degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or its equivalent for Post 1, Diploma in Civil Engineering from the State Council for Engineering or Technical Education for Post 2 with relevant experience.
Candidates will be selected based on Written Test, Personality Test/ Interview.

About WB Municipal Service Commission:
Metropolitan Service Commission was initially constituted under the Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act 1980, by a notice of the State Government dated 22nd March, 1984.
