About Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum:Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore (VITM), a constituent unit of National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was built up in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. An unassuming working with a developed zone of 4000 sq. mtrs., was developed in the tranquil encompassing of the Cubbon Park, lodging different modern items and motors, which was opened by the primary Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 14.07.1962. The principal display set up at VITM on the topic 'Power" was opened to people in general on 27.07.1965 by the then Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Bharat Ratna Indira Gandhi.
