Candidates upper age limit should be 35 years for men and 40 years for women for S.No-01, 35 years for S.No-02, 40 years for men and 45 years for women for S.No-03, 40 years for S.No-04 as on date of interview.
Candidates should have M.Sc/ M.Tech in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Life Sciences with 4 years/ 5 years of bachelor degree for S.No-01, Graduation in any discipline of Science for S.No-02, Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Genetics and plant Breeding or any other branch of life science having specialization in plant biotechnology for S.No-03, Intermediate and Graduation in any discipline of Biological Sciences (Plant Sciences) for S.No-04.
Selection will be based on interview
Eligible candidates can attend for walk in interview along with application in prescribed format, bio-data affixing a self attested recent passport size photograph, enclosing self attested copies of certificates in support of age (class 10th certificate), qualifications and experience on 20-09-2016 at 10:00 AM. About VPKAS: 
ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (VPKAS), Almora, Uttarakhand, India is a head foundation of Indian Council of Agriculture Research possessed with slant cultivating investigation for North-Western Himalayan territory of India. It is a multi-crop and multi-disciplinary foundation. It has so far released more than 140 collections of 25 items. Some of these combinations have been released by Central Varietal release committee (CVRC) for various parts of India, beside the request zone. It has shockingly the first blend maize collection for Himalayan region, viz., VL Makka 54, released in 1962. The foundation has kept up its custom of tenacious work and inconceivability. The affirmation came around when the foundation stuffed away the wanted 'Sardar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award' in 2001 and again in 2008. The foundation tries at finishing still more significant destinations under the Director Dr. A. Pattanayak.
