About University of Hyderabad:
The University of Hyderabad, a chief organization of post graduate instructing and research in the nation, was built up by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 39 of 1974) on second October, 1974 as a Central University, Wholly financed by the University Grants Commission. The "objects of the University" as visualized in the Act seem to be:" to scatter and propel information by giving instructional and research offices in such branches of learning as it might regard fit and by the case of its corporate life, and specifically to make uncommon arrangements for incorporated courses in humanities and science in the instructive projects of the University and to take suitable measures for advancing between disciplinary reviews and research in the University."
