Candidates should have An eminent scholar with M.Sc/ Ph.D qualification in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Published Work for Post No. 01 to 03, Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the subject/ discipline and Master?s Degree in the discipline concerned with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system in followed) for Post No. 04 & Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading is followed) at the Master?s degree level in the subject concerned from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university for Post No. 05.

About UUHF:
Slopes spread significant piece of Uttarakhand State. Around 65% of the aggregate geological zone is under woods. For bunch reasons, agribusiness in slope district of the State has been at subsistence level. Notwithstanding, cultivation and ranger service are the two noteworthy areas that hold huge potential for practical development. With a perspective to add to these areas through exploratory intercessions, the State Government has built up Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry (UUHF) by an Act of State Legislative Assembly [The Uttarakhand Krishi Evam Prodyogik Vishwavidhyalaya (Amendment) Act, 2011 {Uttarakhand Act No.13 of 2011}] dated 28th April, 2011 with Head Quarter at Bharsar,Pauri Garhwal. The Notification No. 732/XIII-II/2011-12(02)/2011, dated 26th September, 2011 has likewise been issued in such manner by the State Government. With the foundation of UUHF, different grounds, Colleges, Research Centers and KVKs viz., Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali College of Horticulture, Bharsar; Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Distt. Pauri Garhwal; College of Forestry and Hill Agriculture, Ranichauri; Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Distt. Tehri Garhwal; Research Centers at Kanatal and Gaja (Tehri Garhwal) of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology have been converged with UUHF.
