Teacher Recruitment Board,Tamil Nadu(TRB TN) has released notification for the recruitment of 1325 Special Teacher (Physical Education, Drawing, Music, Sewing) vacancies in School Education and other Departments. Eligible candidates may apply online from 27-07-2017 to 18-08-2017.

I. Backlog Vacancies - 16 Posts
1. Drawing Teacher: 07 Posts
2. Music Teacher: 04 Posts
3. Sewing Teacher: 05 Posts
II. Current Vacancies - 1309
1. Physical Education Teacher: 663 Posts
2. Drawing Teacher: 320 Posts
3. Music Teacher: 82 Posts
4. Sewing Teacher: 244 Posts.
Candidates should not be over 57 years of age as on 01-07-2017 as the age of superannuation is 58 years.
Candidates should possess S.S.L.C/ Higher Secondary with Pass in Pre University/ Higher Secondary/ Teachers School Leaving Certificate (Secondary Grade or Senior Basic) for post 1, S.S.L.C & Degree with Drawing and Painting under Part III of a University in the State or its equivalent for post 2, S.S.L.C & Degree with Music under Part III for post 3, SSLC & a Certificate in Needle work and Dress making (Higher Grade) and Embroidery (Higher Grade) for post 4.
Based on written exam & weightage of marks for employment registration.
Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ SCA/ ST and PwD candidates) through online net banking/ credit card/ debit card. Candidates have also to pay the service charges as applicable for online payment. Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.trb.tn.nic.in from 27-07-2017 to 18-08-2017.
