The District Court Cuddalore has announced a recruitment notification No.390/2017 for 92 post of Group-C & D Cadres. There is a total of 92 posts. Applicants age should minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01-07-2017. Upper age limit is relaxable as per government rules for different categories.
Candidates should have posses B.Sc (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) (OR) B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with Diploma in Computer Applications & Junior Grade English/Tamil Type-writing Passed for Post(1), SSLC Passed for Post(2,3), 8th Standard Pass for Post(4,6), SSLC Passed & Practical Experience for a period of not less than six months in operation of Xerox Machine for Post(5), Able to Read & Write in Tamil for Post(6 to 9). For Posts wise details refer official notification.
Based on Written, Practical Test followed by Interview conducted by Principal District Judge.

THE HISTORY OF DISTRICT COURT, CUDDALORE DISTRICT PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS SOUTH ARCOT DISTRICT While we go to read the legal history of India under the ruling of British, Sir.Thomas Manro made many revolutionary projects.In Monroes Commission decision made in 1814 to Judicial system by British imperialism, Being set up on the basis of Indian culture. During the year of 1827, on the basis of the Civil Court system District Munsif and the Appellate Authority. At the same time, to decide the higher value cases in Principal jurisdiction in District Adalats has been formed. During the year of 1843, the Principal Jurisdiction has been modified as Principal sadar ameen-Zilla Court to deal with all Civil nature of cases only. No appellate jurisdiction is allowed in this form of Courts. Thesesystem is followed only up to 1873.We came to know from the year of 1873 Civil Court Act the post of District Judges have been created. At the same time Criminal Court was formed as sadar dhivani adalat.
