South East Central Railway Recruitment 2017 - Scout | Guide Quota Posts

South East Central Railway (SECR) has announced a notification for Guide and Scout Quota vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format on or before 25-09-2017.

Name of the Posts: Guide Quota and Scout Quota
1. PB1 (Rs.5200-20200/- with corresponding grade pay Rs.1800/-): 06 Posts
2. PB1 (Rs.5200-20200/- with corresponding grade pay Rs.1900/-): 02 Posts
Candidates age should be between 18-31 years for post.1 and 18-28 years for post-2 as on 01-01-2018. Age relaxation is applicable.
Candidates should minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or 1oth pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by CVT or 1oth plus ITI for post-1 and 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent with not less than 50% marks aggregate or course completed Act Apprentice/ ITI for post-2,
Based on written test.

Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format along with all relevant certificates & in an envelope should be superscribed as Employment Notice No. P-HQ/RRC/761/2017-18 Recruitment against Cultural Quota over South East Central Railway by ordinary post to the Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), South East Central Railway, R.T.S. About South East Central Railway  :

SECR is situated in the heartland of Central India & serving the states of Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Maharastra, with proud privilege. This Railway plays a paramount role in the transportation of Minerals and Coals to different Power Plants & Industrial Units all over the country. Performance of SECR over last eight consecutive financial years has been appreciated. The main commodities being transported are Coal, Iron & Steel, iron ore, cement and fertilizers. When we look at the indices of SECR, amazingly we find that even though it has only 3.78% Railway track kilometers of Indian Railways, SECR carries about 15.01% of total volume of freight traffic on Indian Railways.At the same time, it has the minimal strength of the employees i.e. only 3% of the total work force of Indian Railways, whereas the operating ratio on this railway has been extremely good i.e. only 50% which is the best on Indian Railways. SECR has focused more on capacity utilization, reduction in unit costs, energy conservation and quality improvement of service which yielded remarkable results.
