Candidates age should be Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years for General candidates as on 01-06-2017. Age relaxation is admissible 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates against the indicative reserved post.
Candidates should have Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University and with NET qualification.
Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Applicants required to pay Rs. 500/- for UR/ OBC candidates through online by using credit/ debit card/ net banking. No fee for SC, ST, PwD and Women Candidates.

About Shivaji College :

Shivaji College, a constituent College of the University of Delhi, is run under the trusteeship of Delhi Administration. it is a co-educational institution and imparts instruction in various subjects at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
The College was founded in 1961 by the renowned social activist and farmer-leader, Honourable Dr. Panjab Rao Deshmukh, then Union Minister for Agriculture, to meet the needs and ideals of higher education in a predominantly agrarian area. Till some years after its inception, the college functioned from a temporary building in village Matiala. It was taken over by the Delhi Government, and relocated to Karampura, in 1967. The college finally shifted to its present location 1976.
