Selection Centre, South Bangalore, Ministry of Defence has published notification for the recruitment of Masalchi, Messenger (MTS), Mess waiter, Cook, Room Orderly (MTS), Watchman (MTS) & Safaiwala (MTS) vacancies on direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format within 21 days from the date of advertisement

Candidates age limit should be between 18 ? 25 years and 18 ? 30 years for ST Candidates for POst No. 01 to 03 and 18 ? 25 years for Post No. 04 to 07 as on last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable up to 40 years for Post No. 04 & 05 and up to 35 years for Post No. 01 to 03 and 06 & 07 for Government Servants.
Candidates should have Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board.
Candidates will be selected based on written exam.
Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format with photocopies of matriculation certificate, mark sheet of the educational qualification, date of birth certificate, caste certificate and 03 latest passport size photographs & a self addressed envelope (size 4 x 10) dully affixing postal stamp od Rs. 22/- in an envelope should be super scribed with ?Name of the Post/ Category (In Block Letters) eg Application for the Post of -----? through registered post to the Commandant, Selection Center South, Cubbon Road, Bangalore ? 560 042 within 21 days from the date of advertisement.
About Us:-
This is a centre for both Army and Navy officer Selection. It has got two boards for Army, 17 SSB and 24 SSB and one board for Navy that is 12 SSB. SCS is equipped with good facilities to make a comfortable and memorable stay for the candidates. It has got Indoor and out games, excellent dormitories, mess, canteen, CSD facility, Telephone, Internet, Reading, TV etc. There are local markets nearby hence there is facility of ATM in the vicinity. Candidates who apply for different types of entries of Army and Navy may get an SSB here, like the CDSE, Naval entries, 10+2 B.Tech etc.
