Secretariat Administration Department (SAD), Government of Assam has announced the jobs for 167 Computer Operators. Eligible Applicants should apply online through the official website, www.sad.assam.gov.in on or before last date 19-09-2017.

Candidate age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 43 years as on 01-01-2017. Upper age-limit is relaxation as per government rules for different categories.
The candidates must possess a minimum 6(six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer proficiency from a recognized Institute, The minimum educational qualification of the candidates shall be a graduate in Arts, Science or Commerce from a University recognized by the State Government or a degree equivalent thereto and recognized by the Government.
Applicants will have to take a Written Exam followed by Computer Proficiency Practical Test conducted by Assam Secretariat Administration Department.
Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official website of the Assam Secretariat, www.sad.assam.gov.in between 21-08-2017 to 19-09-2017.

About SAD Assam :

Secretariat Administration Department originally formed a part of the Establishment Branch of the Finance Department. In 1930, there were only 5 Secretariat Departments and a few branches with clerical strength of 35 Upper Division assistants and 124 Lower Division Assistants under 5 Head Assistants working under the administrative control of the Registrar who functioned directly under the Chief Secretary.
