About SDAU: 
The Government of Gujarat had set up the Gujarat Agricultural University in the state vide Gujarat Act, No. 13 of 1969. The Government of Gujarat scratched off Gujarat Agricultural University Act, 1969 and announced GAUs Act, No. 5 of 2004. As requirements be, Four State Agricultural Universities have been removed from past GAU, S. D. Agrarian University being one of them.
