Job notification in Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON) for Scientist Posts.Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed format on or before 18-09-2016.


1. Scientist (Conservation Ecology): 01 Post
2. Scientist (Environmental Impact Assessment): 01 Post
Candidates age should not be more than 35 years as on the last date for receiving applications. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Candidates should possess Ph.D, M.Sc. in relevant field with relevant experience.
Selection will be based on interview.
Eligible candidates can send their typed applications with self-attested copies of testimonials of academic qualifications, research experience, date of birth etc & envelope should be superscribed with Application for the post of Scientist (Conservation Ecology)/ (EIA) to The Director, Slim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History, Anaikatty Post, Coimbatore 641108 (Tamil Nadu) on or before 18-09-2016.

About SACON:
The Salim Ali Center for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON) appeared in 1990, toward the start of the decade that set the twin issues of preservation of biodiversity and its manageable use in the plan for worldwide activity. The extravagance of India's biodiversity and its quick disintegration in the most recent couple of decades need no telling. Most biological communities have been debased, divided and drained to a degree that their preservation requires extraordinary and educated administration. 

Dr. Salim Ali in the most recent years of his life was more persuaded than any time in recent memory that protection in India would be worthless activity unless it additionally presented advantages to the general population who bear the expenses of preservation.
