Job Notification in Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC)Jaipur, North Western Railway has announced a notification for the recruitment of Scouts & Guides Quota vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 30-07-2017 for normal areas & 14-08-2017 for remote areas.

Candidates age should be 18 to 31 years for Post 1, 18 to 28 years for Post 2 as on 01-07-2017. Age relaxations are applicable of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD candidates.
Candidates should possess Minimum 10 Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT/SCVT for Post 1, 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate for Post 2.
Based on written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
Candidates need to pay Rs.500/- (Non Refundable), Rs.250/- for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women, Minorities communities and Economically Backward Classes in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway, payable at Jaipur.Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format along with self attested copies of Matriculation/High School Examination certificate, educational qualifications, caste certificate, by ordinary post in an envelope must be super scribed as Application for Scouts & Guides Quota, 2017-18 (Level-2) or (Level-1) to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment),Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway, Power House Road, Opp. DRM Office, Jaipur-302006 or dropped in the Box kept in the office, RRC Jaipur on or before 30-07-2017 & 14-08-2017 for remote areas.

About North Western Railway:
North Western Railway came being on 1st October, 2002. It was carved out of 2 divisions each from Northern and Western Railways. The formation of this zone along with five other new zones was first approved by Railway Board on 16th September, 1996 and foundation stone for this zone was laid on 17th October 1996 by the then Prime Minister Shri H.D. Deve Gowda at K.P. Singh Stadium, Jaipur. The impetus for formation of New Zone came with the Government of India notification no. 97E@R/700/Notification dated 14.06.2002 wherein it was decided that North Western Railway with its jurisdiction over existing Jaipur and Ajmer divisions of Western Railway and Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions of Northern Railway was to come into effect from 1.10.2002.
