Job notification in Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) for the recruitment of Medical Officer (Scientist-B), Technical Assistant (Field Investigator) & Nutritionist vacancies on contractual & temporary basis under the project entitled ?A study on the Effectiveness of Food supplementation on Treatment Outcomes and Nutritional status of Adults with Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Odisha?. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 31-12-2016 by 04:30 PM


Medical Officer (Scientist-B): 01 Post
Technical Assistant (Field Investigator): 12 Posts
Nutritionist: 05 Posts

Candidates upper age limit should be 35 years for S.No-01, 30 years for S.No-02 & 03 as on 31-12-2016. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules
Candidates should possess MBBS for S.No-01, Post Graduation in Anthropology/ Sociology & Allied Social Sciences for S.No-02, M.Sc Nutrition for S.No-03.
Selection will be based on written test/ interview.

About Regional Medical Research Centre:
In view of the existing unevenness in the geographical distribution of scientific and research capabilities in Bio-medical sciences and also the fact that there are large tracts of the country where major health problems still far from health facilities, Indian Council of Medical Research developed a strategy of setting up a chain of Regional Medical Research Centre's to address a regional priority health problems.One of such centres was established on 12th July, 1982 at Dibrugarh for promoting research and talking various pressing health problems of the Northeast region of India. Regional Medical Research Centre, Dibrugarh made a modest beginning in a rented building in the heart of the Dibrugarh town. Dr.B.D.Baruah, the eminent pathologist of N.E.Region had the distinction of being the founder Director of this centre.
