Information and Public Relation Officer: 05 Posts
Assistant Public Relation Officer: 14 Posts
District Programme Officer: 02 Posts
Ayurvedic Medical Officer: 118 Posts
Candidates should be between 18 ? 37 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable up to 45 years for all States/ Central Government employees, 42 years for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab & other relaxation details refer the notification.
Candidates should possess Degree in M.Sc. (Agriculture) with Soil Science or Conservation Agriculture as a major subject or Degree in B. Tech. Agricultural Engineering with Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard for Post No. 01 & 02, Post Graduation Diploma in any discipline from a recognised University, Degree or Post Graduation in Journalism or Mass Communication or Public Relation and Advertising from a recognised University for Post No. 03 & 04, Master's Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication or Public Relation and Advertising from a recognised University for Post No. 05 & Other qualification details like refer the notification.
Candidates will be selected based on competitive exam (objective type) & interview.
Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.ppsc.gov.in on or before 28-10-2016 by 11:59 PM & send hard copy of the online application with self attested copies of Date of Birth Certificate, Degree Certificate, Detail Marks Card, Category Certificate and Bank Draft to the Punjab Public Service Commission on or before 11-11-2016 by 05:00 PM.

About PPSC:
Joint public service commission, the precursor of the punjab public service commission, with its writ running from the khyber pass to the jamuna near delhi, was born at lahore on may 1,1937. in the wake of the partition, the punjab public service commission resurged in february, 1948, at shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of east punjab. following the merger of the states of punjab and pepsu, it shifted to patiala on nov.1st,1956. on 1stnov1966, its territorial jurisdiction again decreased due to the formation of the states of haryana and himachal pradesh.
