4. UR: 35 Posts
Candidates minimum age is 21 years & maximum age is 32 years as on 01-01-2016 ie not have been born earlier than 02-01-1984 & not later than 01-01-1995. Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SEBC, SC, ST & Women candidates, 10 years for PwD category & Others is applicable as per rules.
Candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Institution recognised by Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training & have passed Odia equivalent to ME standard.
Candidates will be selected based on written examination & weight age on career evaluation
Eligible candidates can apply online through website www.ossc.gov.in from 08-08-2016 to 07-09-2016 by 11:59 PM & send hard copy of printed out online application (OSSC copy) along with all enclosures as mentioned in notification, envelope must be superscribed as "Application for Post of Junior Engineer (Electrical)"by Reg Post/ Speed Post to Secretary, Odisha Staff Selection Commission, Barrack No.1, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar- 751054 on or before 22-09-2016 by 05:00 PM.

About OSSC: 
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was set up by Govt. of Odisha as a statutory body in the year 1994 for doing direct ruling against Group-C posts in the State unit (as against District structure) as may be sorted out in the OSSC Rules, 1993.There are some spot in the level of 85 remarkable units of posts/relationship under particular strengths of Government to which determination is made through this Commission. .The Commission is going by the Chairman, and furthermore it merges a Member.They are alloted by the Government, and are encouraged by Rules controlling their decision and states of service.The Commission is tried and true to the General Administration Department of Government in complete and money related matters.Secretary is the Head of Office; and helping him are the Joint Secretary/Addl. Secretary, Under Secretary, Accounts Officer, and the Special Officer.
