Job notification in North Eastern Railway for Sports Quota Posts.Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 29-08-2016 for normal areas and 14-09-2016 for remote areas.


Sports Quota (Group C)-21
1. Athletics (Men): 02 Posts
2. Kabaddi (Men): 03 Posts
3. Cricket (Men): 02 Posts
4. Football (Men): 02 Posts
5. Basket Ball (Women): 07 Posts
6. Basket Ball (Men): 01 Post
7. Weight Lifting (Women): 02 Posts
8. Dibing (Men): 01 Post
9. Badminton: 01 Post
Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2017. No age relaxation is permissible.
Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science & university Degree or its equivalent.
Selection will be based on written & assessment test.
Eligible candidates can send their duly filled application A-4 size paper in the prescribed format along with recent passport size photograph, self attested copies of relevant certificates & envelope duly superscribing Sports Quota 2016-17″ by ordinary post only to the Senior Personnel Officer, RRC, North Eastern Railway, CCM Annexe Building, Railway Road No.14, Gorakhpur-273013 on or before 29-08-2016 for normal areas and 14-09-2016 for remote areas.

About North Eastern Railway:
North Eastern Railway appeared on 14th April 1952, when two complete railroad frameworks viz. Oudh Tirhoot Railway and Assam Railway and Fatehgarh area of BB and CI Railway were converged into one framework and was introduced by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.It extended from Achnera close Agra in the West to Ledo close to the outskirt of West Bengal in the East.
