Candidates upper age should be 60 years for Post 1, 2, 5 as on 30-06-2017.
Candidates should possess Two year Integrated Post Graduation M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject/ Masters Degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 50% of marks for Post 1, Four years Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education or NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate/ Bachelor degree in relevant subject with 50% marks or above in aggregate, B.Ed for Post 2, B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized university, Competence to teach through English & Hindi/ concerned Regional Language for Post 3, Graduation with Diploma in Computer Application(equivalent to A level course DOEACC) from a recognized University/Institution/ A Level Certificate from DOEACC/ BCA from a recognized University/ Institution/ PGDCA/ B.Tech. in IT/ CS from recognized University/ Institution for Post 5. About Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) :

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) on 28th February, 1986. The objects for which the Samiti has been established are detailed in the Memorandum of Association and Rules of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The Samiti administers the scheme of Navodaya formulated by the Government of India, in the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It has a three tier Management structure with Headquarters at New Delhi, Regional Offices to manage a cluster of schools; and JNVs spread all over the country.To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure and physical education to the talented children from the rural areas. Students in the Navodaya Vidyalayas are admitted in Class-VI and provided education upto Class-XII. Now provision is made for lateral entry of students in Class-IX & XI also.To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure and physical education to the talented children from the rural areas.
