Candidates age should be 28 years for S.No-1,2,5,8, 30 years for S.No-6 &10, 32 years for S.No-4, 35 years for S.No-3, 7, 9 as on 02-08-2016. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Women candidates.
Candidates should possess M.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry, Applied Chemistry for S.No-1, M.Sc (Physics), M.Sc in Physics/ Applied Optics/ Applied Physics, B.Tech (Electronics/ Electronics & comm) for S.No-2, Ph.D (Physics/ Chemistry/ Atomospheric Sci/ Geophysics), Ph.D (Low Temperature Physics) for S.No-3, M.Sc (Chemistry), M.Sc (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry) + 2 years research experience for S.No-4 & for other refer notification.
Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Eligible candidates may attend for walk in with duly filled up application for "Floating (Walk-in) Interview" in the prescribed format, latest passport size photograph, self attested copies of all relevant certificates/ testimonials & originals on 02-08-2016 & 03-08-2016 between 09.00 AM to 10.00 AM.

About ational Physical Laboratory:
The National Physical Laboratory is the National Metrology Institute of india and a Premier Research Laboratory in the field of Physical Sciences. The National Physical Laboratory was conceptualized in 1943 by the Governing Body of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) , with a perspective to clear path for utilizing science and innovation as a methods for mechanical development and improvement, and in addition to offer fillip to the youngster Indian industry. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the then Prime Minister of India, established the framework stone for the research center on January 4, 1947 and it was one of the main National Laboratory to be set-up under the CSIR. On January 21, 1950, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the then Deputy Prime Minister of India, introduced the NPL building. Throughout the years, the Laboratory has more than understood its essential order as the guardian of Measurement Standards for the country while likewise generously growing its exploration exercises to develop as a main national foundation for examination in an entire range of territories in the Physical Sciences.
