Nagaland Public Service Commission Recruitment 2017-Apply for Stenographer Posts

Job notification in Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has advertised a notification for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade-II & Stenographer Grade-III vacancies for Nagaland Information Commission, Home Department Secretariat Administrative Branch(A) & Power Department respectively. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 16-08-2017.

1. Stenographer Grade-II: 01 Post
2. Steno Grade-III 04 Posts
3. Stenographer Grade-III: 03 Posts
Candidates age should be 21 to 30 years as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is 5 years admissible for SC/ ST, Government employees as per rules.
Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline with 120 w.p.m in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m in Typing for S.No-1, Graduation with Six months Diploma in Computer Operation and 1(one) year course in Shorthand possessing a speed of 100 w.p.m for S.No-2, Pre- University/ HSSLC with 80 w.p.m in Shorthand and 30 w.p.m in Typing for S.No-3 Posts.
Candidates will be selected based on Examination.
Applicants required to pay examination fee of Rs. 300 /- in the form of Demand Draft for Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima, payable at Kohima or can also be submitted personally in the Commission?s Office on Payment of Rs 300/- only by Cash.Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed application format along with copy of recent passport size photographs, Original examination fee receipt issued by the Commission/ Bank Draft, attested/ Self attested copies of relevant documents by registered post to The Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission, New Capital Complex, Kohima-797001, Nagaland on or before 16-08-2017.

About NPSC :

The Nagaland Public Service Commission was set up in 1965 with a composition of one Chairman and two Members. The composition was revised in 1985 by addition of more Member. In 2007 the strength of members of the Commission was increased to 4 nos. Presently there are 1(one) Chairman and 4(four) Members.
