NIOS Recruitment 2017 - for Stenographer Posts

Job notification in National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for Stenographer Posts.Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 24-01-2017 & 31-01-2017 for remote areas.


Stenographer
Candidates age should be 27 years on the closing date. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.
Candidates should Senior Secondary from a recognized Board, Certificate/Diploma in Secretarial Practice from a recognized institution, Speed in shorthand in English/Hindi @ 80 w.p.m with computer speed of 8000 key depression per hour.
Selection will be based on written test/ interview.
Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format along with attested copies of certificates/ documents, passport size photograph and application fees to the Joint Director (Admin), National Institute of Open Schooling, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Noida ? 201309, U.P on or before 24-01-2017 & 31-01-2017 for remote areas.

About NIOS:
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) once in the past known as National Open School (NOS) was set up in November,1989 as a self-ruling association in compatibility of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. NIOS is giving various Vocational, Life Enrichment and group situated courses other than General and Academic Courses at Secondary and Senior Secondary level. It likewise offers Elementary level Courses through its Open Basic Education Programs (OBE).Government of India through a periodical warning vested NIOS with the power to inspect and affirm learners enlisted with it upto pre degree level courses whether Academic, Technical or Vocational. Relationship of Indian Universities, vide letter No . EV/11(354)/91/25 July, 1991 issued Equivalence of Senior Secondary Certificate Examination of NIOS.
