Job notification in National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa for Project Assistant I, II & JRF(LS)/ PA-II Posts. Eligible candidates can walk in on 15, 18 & 19-07-2016 at 10.00 AM.

Candidates Maximum age is 28 years for Project Assistant-II, 25 years for Project Assistant-I as on date of interview.
Candidates should possess M.Sc Applied Geology/ Geology or equivalent degree for Project Assistant-II, M.Sc Marine Biology, have cleared CSIR-UGC NET (LS) Exam for JRF(LS)/ PA-II, BSc Computer Science or Three year diploma in Computers or Bachelor of Computer Application(BCA) for Project Assistant-I Posts with adequate experience.
Candidates will be selected based on applicants performance in interview.
Eligible candidates can attend the interview along with relevant documents on 15, 18 & 19-07-2016 at 10.00 AM.

About NIO Goa: 

The National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) with its base camp at Dona Paula, Goa, and commonplace centers at Kochi, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, is one of the 38 constituent labs of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi.NIO was set up on 1 January 1966 after the International Indian Ocean Expedition (IIOE) in mid 1960s.The foundation has formed today into an endless oceanographic lab of general repute.The focus of examination has been on study and understanding the wonderful oceanographic highlights that the North Indian dish offers.The determinations from this examination have been addressed in around 5000 examination articles so far.The alliance has around 200 specialists (more than half of them hold doctoral degree) and 100 specific invigorate staff.
